Anybody try Celestion G12 Century Vintage? Any opinions? What do they compare to?

Wow has no one used these? I guess that tells a story right there.

I have one...somewhere in my pile. It's not real vintage sounding due to the neodymium magnet. But it is lightweight.

The only person I can think of offhand who was keen on the Neodymium Celestions was "sub" on the 18watt.com forum. If I recall correctly, he used to use one in conjunction with another speaker in a "detuned" 4X12 cabinet (only 2 speakers).
Can't remember exactly which neodymium celestion though (wasn't there two in the range?)
Not sure what amp he used this setup with though.
So I like purple, okay!!!!!!

I tried a pair very briefly and liked them, I sold them on pretty quickly so didnt get to know them very well. they sounded kind of similar to the vintage 30 if I remember rightly.

I have one of them in a 2x12 (the other speaker is a Vintage 30), only like the light weight.
Tone is err.... lightweight
