Hi there!
I'm gonna get me a 2X12 XL from TubeTown soon. In case you don't know about them they're German and make wonderful cabs. I've had two of their cabs in the past and their work is stunning. I'm not going the 4X12 way for several reasons, among them are the weight, portability, size and cost of both the unit itself and the speakers involved obviously.
I'd like the speakers to get me to a blend of Hendrix, Bonamassa, Moore, Trower, Derringer, KWS, SRV, Healey (and so forth) territory and I'd like them to be able to handle a 100 watt head. I'll only be playing them through the Metro 1987 replica I have but in case I want a 10000 or 12000 series one of these days I don't want to change the speakers.
Please give me your insight on this. Which way do I go? EVM12-L's? Celestion G12-65's? Scumbacks? ASW? Try to bear in mind as well that I'm in Europe and that if I buy USA-made speakers the shipping costs will rise... But if you have something great in mind just shoot, and I'll weigh the pros and cons on my own...
Thanks a lot!

Thanks Roe!
One of each and that's it? The LHDC ones seem cool on the paper, any insight on those for the style that I play? Will I lose any punch or dynamics using 100W speakers instead of say 65 watts if I use them only with my 1987 replica?
Thanks!

the 100w is slightly warmer and more ineffective than the 65w. they are not bright or harsh. personally, I don't see the need for LHDC
