Have you checked the cone #'s yet? They should be RIC cones, not 1777 or 444. If they aren't RICxxx cones, and they have the 1777 and 444 they're not original cones.

Pics?

I found the product on ebay... It's pretty rough, but seems legitimate. Here's the link:

Apparently, at some point some moron removed the tolex and spray painted it black, but to a certain extent, I don't care about appearance. It has original Greenbacks with original cones, I checked. They all hace RIC1AR on them. If I really wanted, I suppose I could get the cab restored.

Speakers are worth around $125-175 each IF they're not abused. The cab is basically a hulk...as is the cloth...but if you can hear it first, great. If not...I'd be hesitant to get it. Although you could always take a gamble on it, and put the speakers in another cab while you got that one restored.

Since those aren't the 003 or 014 cones I'd get Scumbacks and a repro cab. In the long run you know what you had and you wouldn't be looking at replacing blown speakers or having the cab recovered.

I want an original cab because I'm picky. That's all there is to it. Maybe I should look for speakers seperate from the cab. Does anybody know a better place to find original (not abused) Greenbacks and an original cab other than ebay? 55hz or 75hz?
