I put 2 V-30s into a twin-12 silvertone Cab. It is 8in deep.Is it Too small I also made it a closed back cab.I use it to run my 1959 on 3-5 vol.just to practice,is it too small? :oops:

I doubt it. I would need to know more to say for sure. I doubt anybody would damage a pair of speakers practicing unless they were wired wrong or something.

Even though it's called the "Vintage 30" they are rated for 60 watts. Here's the spec sheet. You should be fine.

I think there alittle too bright sounding.If I was to put a 25 watter in and take a V-30 out would I still be OK.

Almost certainly not. If you're running your amp above 1 or 2 with 2 speakers and one of them is rated at 25, then you're basically assured a blown 25-watter. That's because your cabinet is only rated as high as the number of speakers * the rating of your least-rated speaker. Even if you have 1 60-watter in there, your cab will still be rated 50 watts because of the 25 watter. Scumback sells 65-watt and 100-watt versions of the 25-watters (and 30-watters if that's more the sound you're after).
