I got an old (early 70's) Eko (italian manufacturer) Herald IV closed 2x12" cabinet. Cab is in great shape and has original speakers. Speakers doesn't have any kind of name of the manufacturer and I would be very interested to know what brand those speakers are. It might be also possible that speakers are made by Eko, but I have no idea if that would be true. Internet doesnt provide me any info about this cab.
Speaker grilles are deep dark blue (almost black) colored and they don't have any stamping. No stamp on cones either. Magnets don't have any sticker on them and unfortunately only txt that's found is black txt on the magnet that says: "P/30/1130X" and "Z=8". Obviously speakers are ceramic and rated 30W 8ohm.
I know that Eko had co-operation with Vox in the early 70's but none of that era vox speakers seem to be similiar. Type 1130 could refer to Wharfedale GHS-1230 which has been used by Vox, but physically speaker doesn't remind Wharfedale. Grille seems to be more of Eminence type, but I couldn't find any match from vintage Eminences either. Couldn't find any info on Eko speakers.

Cab seems to be solid quality and the size is quite perfect for road use. Cab weights about 22.5kg (49.6lb). I haven't had oppoturnity to have a proper test to hear the cab yet (only a quickie test with modern solid state Peavey with clean sound)
Any info of the speakers is highly appreiciated. And, if you can recommend a place where to ask more about these speakers/cab, that info would be great too.
