The Eminence Black Mountain but, I guess it's expensive as any. Still a great sounding alnico.

Re: Alnico Blues
A few years back I bought a huge number of alnico speakers. They all sound different to some degree. Not all blues sound a like for that matter. The reissues from the last ten years sound different than good ones from the 60s. I didn't care for Red Fang or Weber Blue they both sounded flat in comparison to reissue Blues. I didn't like the reissue Blues as much as 60s Blues. Scumnicos sound like vintage Blues. Fane sounded like an EV and didn't have the low power feel of a alnico which isn't surprising as it is rated at 100 watts. All in all the Scumnicos are my favorites along with the Vintage Blue and Silver Celestions of the middle and late 60. Now talk about price good vintage Celestions can cost 500 to 1000 dollars each so Scumnicos for $260 sound like a dream come true.
