I tried the Emeinence GB12's

I put 4 Eminence GB12's in the purple straight cab I used at a benefit show last week. They sounded really good.

Definately a unique mid range character to them. Not really like a greenback at all to my ears. But interesting. I liked it for some things, specifically the Queen tune. And it was too much for other songs.

I'm told they are discontinued. Avatar is blowing them out at about $40 each. You can't go wrong loading a 4-12 for under $200.

Anyone else use these?

I'm still saving for those Alien Greenback clones. I've tried some Weber ceramic Blue Dogs but didn't think they sounded too much like a Greenback either. Still really good ... just not like a Greenback.
