Friedman's STFU Attenuator

Post by yngwie308 » Fri Mar 01, 2013 7:14 pm

Recently shown on the Friedman stand at NAMM was the only STFU you guess it attenuator which may have some semblance to the Faustine Phantom which really lived up to it's name as they are no more.
It has two volume level controls a mod George said he did to power soaks in the past. It is supposed to retail at $1K is the rumor.
It is featured on the new Friedman web site

Or should I just get a Power Soak when the time comes, obviously less desirable but cheaper, for my 1959HW 100 watt.

I expect it is top notch.

Congratulations, Dave. Can't wait to hear it tame a 100w Superlead.

Thanks guitar007 but it hasn't happened yet. I am far from owning one but hope to eventually configure one in my future set up whatever that may be. I cannot go the 1 watt, 5 watt route. I am not playing out but want my plexi tone still just tamed a little!
Thanks for the encouragement! :)
