My 70's (or clone) 4x12 has Celestion G12L-35's!!!! They Sound like mush and shit. Stinks like bigfoots dick!!! I must have some G12H-30's. Will i hear a huge difference? Even my G12T-75's sound better than the turd 35's!!!!!

I have an Ampeg cab with those in it. It sounds great with a Laney Tony Iommi signature head I used to have and it still sounds great with my Carvin X100B that I use for clean tones. And it even still sounds good when I turn that Carvin all the way up (on the clean channel) and get that AC~DC-style mild-but-nasty-sounding (in a good way) crunch. I tried plugging my SLP re-issue rig into that cab and it didn't sound too great.

What kind of amp/guitar/pedals are you using with those speakers?

Les Paul or SG Standard with an EQ pedal for Lead boost straight into the Marshalls. It's funny, My 76' 2203 came back from getting a new PTP and a Dagnall Clone OT and it just kills! Now, my 50 watt model 1987 just doesn't sound the same to me. I guess i have to get a 100 watt 1959 now!! Or build one!!

I don't know of any other way to get 'em. Careful though, he has WAY too many speaker choices, you can get lost quick.

Flames, which silver bells are you using?

The 30 watt ceramics. They put out strong enough lows and mids that they started my '94 1960AX cab rattling and vibrating on certain notes, so I had to put two RI Greenbacks back in that cab to shut it up. Too bad, the midrange honk and nice soft highs of four of those ceramic Bells in a cab is AWESOME. You know how some pepper sauces make your throat feel like it's choking up when you breath in? THAT'S how thick the mids on those Bells are, it's absolutely beautiful. Highs are nice and crisp but not obnoxious like new Greenbacks can be. Lows are solid but not too sledgehammer-y.
Since you have some 100 watt Marshalls you might go with the 50 watters though.

I told you it was possible to get lost in all his speaker models. You've gotta scroll down through all the Jensen/Utah/Oxford/CTS Fender clones (all the 10X and 12X numbers)and high power series to get to the British stuff. Then you'll find the Silver Bells, Blue Dogs (like early AlNiCo Vox/Marshall), the 1230 (think G12H30's, but Weber will do a 55Hz cone too), 12M's and 12V's (the V's are his take on the Vintage 30 IIRC.)

Another question, i was always told that running your amp at 4 ohms is more powerful than 16 ohms. So should i not get 16 ohmers?? Most of my shit now is 8 ohms.

That may be true with solid state, but with a tube amp you're using less of your output tranny's secondary winding for a four- or eight- ohm setting. Sixteen ohms uses the full tranny winding. Some guys claim you can hear a difference and the sixteen is meatier. (Of course they have to set it to eight for a full stack......)
Besides, four sixteen ohm speakers can be wired for either sixteen or four ohms. Hence the JCM900 switching plate.

Oh, and for "crunch city" you'll probably want at least moderate doping. My Bells and Greenbacks are doped (the Greens more so than the Bells) and I can still wreak cone cry out of them with my Strat. My Les Paul is pretty smooth since the humbuckers aren't as percussive.
