What kind of delays do you like? The Boss DD3 is a great compact digital delay. Its a very good sounding delay too. The other boss delays with the longer delay times and reverse functions and all that just sound much worse then the DD3. If you like the loFi analog sound (as I do) Memory Mans are always great although a bit noisy and over the top. Maxon makes some of the best analog delays there are. They have long delay times and have a great, quiet clear and warm delay though their very expensive. I cant wait to get my hands on the Fulltone Tube Tape Echo though its very expensive. If your like me you shudder at the though of Line6 but there delay stomp pedal is a really nice tool. Its faults are pretty clear next to a real analog of tape delay but for for a delay to run in a slave-FX setup its a great tool. It can handle line level and has presents.

Dax,
I played through a T-rex the other day after hearing one played last week.
It's the nicest delay I've ever heard.
Brown switch......HA HA, it's so "brown" without the brown switch even on it's almost a joke to have it on there.
I encourage you to check it out.
They are tanks, 2 year warranty, service in the USA, I think it's power supply is it's only fault.

I keep trying to get a Line 6 DL4 off ebay cheap, but i keep getting beat out. I also looked into the EH deluxe Memory Man, but it didn't have the tap tempo on it. That U2 echo sound is really cool. With the right tempo and underlining bass notes, it creates an awesome mood imo. Don't get me wrong though....I love to jam with SRV and EVH as well (on CD.....it would be kind of hard to jam with SRV right now)

I personally use a couple of Chandler Digital Stereo Echo's .

Wow, ouch, that's expensive. I assumed that the little stomp box one would not cost nearly that much. My assumptions stand corrected.
I'm eyeing the Boss Loop Station. But that is around $250 I hear. I want the long recording times for practicing over looped rhythms, and I really like the lick slow down feature. I understand it does not alter the pitch, which is very nice. I wonder just how much control you have over the speed. The new model has an email registration form to fill out if you want to download the manual.
