Guys,
what's the best thing to do in my current set-up...
I use:
808 -> TC EQ -> Phase 90 ->
AB BOX -> Memory Man -> Amp
-> TU-2
This way the TU-2 supposes to be out of the loop. Still I hear a difference when I just take the AB box & TU-2 out of the chain...The signal becomes clearer...
Maybe it has something to do with the Led in the AB BOX???
Another question:
I power my 808 / TC / Phase 90 & AB box with the TU-2 voltage-out. If I decide to take the TU-2 out of my pedalboard due to the above mentioned things, I would have to power the pedals straight form the adapter. That's no problem also BUT here's what I wonder: would it be either way be better to power the pedals direct form the adapter or doesn't make it any difference when using the TU-2 for this function?

I dont think its better one way or the other to power your pedals via the TU2 or adapter but you can only daisy chain them with a TU2 or other pedals that have that ability that boss makes. You could always cut the adapters end and the end of the daisy chain and solder them together but I dont think the adapters for boss pedals can handle the current draw. Thats why certain boss pedals with very simple circuitry and utility functions have that powering built in.
If the ab box is a true bypass then theres little to no way it could effect anything other then adding a few extra inches of cable. If its an ABY box its possible that its actually a buffer not a true AB box.

Hmmm, it supposed to be true-bypass...I'll have a friend of mine who's a technician, take a look at it tommorow...Billy Batz wrote: if the ab box is a true bypass then theres little to no way it could effect anything other then adding a few extra inches of cable. Took it to our tech today and he too noticed the signal loss.
The guy who built it for me a year ago didn't do the job correctly...
He didn't make it real true by-pass
So our tech is going to make it true by-pass now!
Thanks for the advice though!
