- First here's my signal chain in front of the amp:
Dunlop mini wah
Boss tu3
MXR phase 90 script
Cataline bread Belle epoch
- Marshall 1959 RI P:8 B:4 M:8-10 T:7 V1: 7.5 V2: 10 ( with no jumper cable)
- THD hotplate ( it's not the best but it does the job so far)
- Line out of the hotplate to:
Mxr Carbon copy
TC electronic HOFM
TC Spark mini
And I'm using an old Marshall mg100hdfx as a power amp ( plug in the return of the loop)
Basicaly I'm cranking the 59 and use the line out of the hotplate like an effect loop... I want to use the spark mini as a clean boost for solos but I have trouble matching the levels coming either from the line out or the loop +/- switch.
I'll try to explain myself as best I can for the next part... Grab a cold one it might help

If the line out is to high I'm loading the input if the pedals and if the +/- switch is engage I'm overloading the power amp's input... In that case the boost doesn't actually boost the volume but simply add gain :/ I can't find a sweet spot "in between" the 2 options above.
If you might need pictures to understand I'll post some up
thanks!
