im expensive - last time i was teaching i was charging $160 a month for four one hour lessons. this was 50-60 students a week. until i got the Starship gig my teaching has slowed down.Necrovore wrote:Mark, how much would you charge for lessons? I really need to bring my leadwork up to par with my rhythm playing. You're close enough to make at least a once a month type trip for something that I could work on for a month or so.

Thats not much at all. Thats a great price. The school I taught for charged twice that. $25 for a half hour lesson. Thats was only my cut.

Not trying to give you a Huge ego...but your playing is incredible! I think you could plug a walmart guitar into a walmart amp and sound good!
Being a Zeppelin/ blues guy...I could NEVER play like that.....incredible
I'm gonna hang it up now....go sell all of my equipment.....

God has really given you a great talent

first off thank you - second off each of us has our expression - passion is key - and third off i worked my ass off for it! - no one gave it to me and playing for 30 years it goes with the territory.
balance of tools and how to use them has always been my philosophy as to the defenition of professional. find the tools needed, find out how to use them and or how they apply and then practice your fuckin ass off!
the comitment and dedication to repetition is key here.
I appreciate your post dude!
