I am converting a 78 super reverb over to near Blackface specs. I say near because this is the 70watt ultra linear solid state rectifier version so a complete conversion would be a pain

So, I am wondering if I can simply convert the bias over to blackface spec? Would I need to adjust anything?
After that it should be simple enough to install a Lar/Mar PPIMV instead of the stock one. This is a good friends amp but he just told me to do whatever I would do if it was my amp. I have done a lot of reading around but this 70 watt super seems to be the oddball so mod info is harder to find.
Any help would be great, or even just pointing me in the right direction. I love to research and learn.
