Hey I have a silvertone 1484 twin twelve.

I blew the ot

need a replacement

Whats are the specs?

Will a hammond 273cz work?
I know the mercury magnetics has a direct replacement
but I don't want to fork over 80 bucks for a first time buyer.

Any suggestions?

thanks

I can sell their products at 10% off if that helps. I know it's not much.

Is that 10% off the first time buyer price of 80.00
or 10% off the 55.00 for repeat buyer? (as per their website)

Thanks

A Fender Deluxe OT can also be used. It requires some modification to make it fit.

i've used Bandmaster-type replacement OT's in two 1484's with blown orig OT's--- i think the bigger iron sounds better in these amps -- it's like putting a Bassman OT in a Bandmaster----- i've sold off all my 1484's and kept my 1485 w/6x10 cab---- if one, or both, OT's blow in the 1485 i'd probably spend the $$$ and get the MM clones---not much room for bigger OT's in a 1485...........gldtp99

I have been hired out at a lot of "Next Big R&R Stars" recording sessons. They will use a 1/2 or full stack.I come in with my 30watts of sonic power,"What the hell is That" By the end of sesson,The "Star" is trying to buy it from me.In the Twin-12 I like the low output OT. I turn it up to 7-8w/ a little delay,Thank you Jimmy P. ps>distance + depth :)
