This story also reminds me of when Jerry Dyer of Surreal Amps, a big-time contributing member at this Metro forum, was mixing it up at the Carvin forum. He did point out some of the designing flaws in some of their designs. That wasn't appreciated very much over there...
For what it's worth: I found these old pics of the damage to my long-gone Carvin Legacy...when a Power tube goes bad in a Carvin.
