case for Power Brake..

Post by edwardz » Sun Nov 28, 2004 12:48 pm

Does anybody have any suggestions on what I could use for a carrying case for my Power Brake? I tried a small cooler, but there wasn't enough room after I loaded it with beer... After I unloaded the beer (i.e. drank it), I forgot all about the Power Brake and just cranked my Metro without it.

Thanks!

I think I'd get a rack tall enough for the Brake and a nice Furman Power Conditioner. Use a rack shelf for the Brake, with holes drilled and screws long enough to go up through the rubber feet right into the Brake's existing holes. Then you've got the Brake handy and clean power for your Marshall to boot.

Actually, I have what I call a "power box". This box houses everything that is connected in the speaker circuit of my rig, which includes my Power Brake and Talk Box, along with all my speaker cables and the amp power cable and power pack for my Power Brake's Metro Mod. It's a CD case used by DJs and covered on the outside with diamondplate. Any Guitar Center/Musician's Enemy should have one.

I found a Canon camera equipment bag at Circuit City over the weekend that I think will work great. Thanks for the input.

Now you have to put something rock and rollish on the camera bag. How 'bout, "CAUTION: ELECTRICAL DEVICE"?

Or:

CAUTION

THIS DEVICE ALLOWS MY REAL ALL TUBE MARSHALLS TO PRODUCE TONE FAR SUPERIOR TO LINE 6, MESA TRIPLE RECTOS AND CRATE AMPS AT TOLERABLE VOLUMES!!!
