Isn't really my place to refute, but isn't that kind of an unfair representation of what that amp is capable of? I got the impression from the marketing that it wasn't really designed for that ultra-high gain metal stuff. I guess anyone with a basic tonestack can suck out the mids and dime the preamp for that tone, but it's not really what I would try to get out of the thing for a comparison.

Yeah I heard those and thought they were terrible. I was really hoping for a lot more. To be fair, it does have a mudflap girl setting, so I bet it was on that and not the vintage one.
