Yeah refretting jobs are pricey. Especially when you have to work with a bound neck if your Lester has one.

When I get a refret, I'm going to go with stainless steel jumbos. All my other guitars have them and I really like them. It blows that there is nobody local that does guitar work.

BTW. I was refering to you doing the fret dressing yourself. If you screw up you can always have the guitar refretted. Not something you want to do and not something Id do but at least it wont be trash if you dres it badly. But why bother when a pro can do it quickly and cleanly.
