My son put a plastic toy in my Variac Tenma # 72-110. I took off the four screws on the face, (with the meter and plug). I got the toy out, but I noticed a green ground wire not connected to anything. It is to the ground pin of the plug on the front. I assume it gets grounded with one of the screws that hold on the face plate, but is someone familiar enough with this model to confirm???

Re: Tenma Variac # 72-110 Ground Wire
It should connect to the same grounding point as the power supply cable ground.
It may also be secured to the metal body of the unit, such as the faceplate screws.
But the first method is the correct one, really.
